Ingunn’s work at Østfoldforskning is connected to environmental optimising of resources in production and services, with a special focus on energy. She has also worked with statistic analyses and evaluations, and is responsible for methodical questions when using life cycle assessment tools. Ingunn is concerned with green values and how these can create an added value for industry.
She graduated in 1992 with an M.Sc. in mechanical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
During her first years at Ostfold Research, Ingunn worked on cleaner production projects and the development of environmental technology, including carrying out experiments in Sweden and France, mathematical modelling and patenting.
Ingunn loves fresh air and bad weather, and likes orienteering together with her husband and children.
