Vibeke Schakenda’s work at Ostfold Research concerns projects on the optimal utilisation of waste resources and environmental declarations/EPD for building materials. She would like to see waste resources being utilised in the best possible way.
Vibeke has a bachelor’s degree from Ostfold University College. The thesis, Increased use of biogas, was written in co-operation with Ostfold Research. She was on a placement at Mills DA in Fredrikstad throughout her studies, where she worked in the various laboratories connected with production there.
She originally trained as a chef, and has worked at various hotels and restaurants.
She likes cooking for her friends and family in her spare time, and she is also a keen walker with her dog Oskar.
