Anne has a degree in chemical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (1990). Since 1992 she has been working at Ostfold Research, where she has been involved in the development of Environmental Protection Research, from technical environment analyses in a company to environmental and resource considerations in production in a lifetime perspective.
Today, Anne mainly works on projects linked to construction and materials in a lifetime perspective, to evaluations and making changes in the environmental politics of the firms who commission our projects, through the use of practical actions . She believes that environmental improvements should not only be the preserve of industry, but also that we within the service sector need to take environmental improvements seriously.
Anne has also had management responsibility in Ostfold Research, both as department manager and institute leader. She has previously been employed at SINTEF, Trondheim and ANOX AB in Lund where she worked with mathematical modelling of biological cleansing processes.
Her spare time is spent looking after her family and friends, usually with good food as a focal point. Various outside activities, summer and winter, are important for both body and soul. Anne is also an active organiser at a local level. She is a keen spectator and team leader in girl’s handball on Kråkerøy, where her daughters play.
