KLIMAT – cooperation on environmental and climate gas documentation of food products

Last year, The Norwegian Board of Technology recommended the introduction of climate footprint labelling of food products, similar to the scheme initiated by the British Carbon Trust. In the project KLIMAT, life cycle assessment methodology is further developed as a foundation for environmental and climate gas documentation of food, in order to influence the possible introduction of a climate footprint label.

The project partners are important actors within the food and retailer industry in Norway. Read more in our project presentation of KLIMAT.
